Limited on-street parking is available in Pin Mill Road, although in holiday periods / summer weekends, this can become extremely congested!
A public pay-and-display car park is operated by Babergh District Council, who actively enforce parking tickets in the Car Park, and is found just before the river, adjacent to a picnic area. CLICK HERE for the parking charges.
Alternatively, a free public car park is provided by Chelmondiston Parish Council, just behind the Red Lion, on the main road (do be careful to make sure you are in the CPC car park, as the Red Lion do have enforced parking restrictions, that will issue parking tickets). Using the village Car Park, does mean that visitors can enjoy the picturesque 15 minute stroll down Pin mill Road, or the slightly more tiring Church Road / Hollow Lane, with it's steep hill (steep to Suffolk anyway...!)
